Ordered, paid, received confirmation. +7 days called, emailed, & contacted via their website, no response. +16 days called, emailed, contacted via their website, cancelled order. Ordered from another company (+3 days received). Contacted Better Business Bureau. Contacted bank, requested refund, received credit. Trying to reinstate the charge, Advanced Lamps sent the bank "information provided to the customer": "temporary back order", and the merchandise was to be shipped (69 days after ordering!!??). I never received the email or merchandise. I needed one Theater Light bulb for a 4th of July party. I wouldn't keep, nor do I need another to keep on the shelf. +108 days, if I had waited for Advanced Lamps, I still be without television.

Advanced Laps LLC. Has The Worst Customer Service Dept.

They sell Lamps for TV's and other applications on line from there web site http://www.advancedlamps.com. You purchase a bag of goods that are not good. They never answer there phone or return phone calls and don't respond to e-mail either. They just take your money from the internet and run. I have tried every avenue to get in touch with them and no response from them at all what kind of company operates like this? Don't waste your money as they are not worth doing business with. Take it from some one who got ripped off. I wonder how many more people like myself got cheated out of there money from this place ?

Advanced Lamps poor customer service, fulfillment, and order processing!

My Sony TV lamp burnt out on a Friday morning - found Advanced Lamps was one of several companies that had the right lamp and their website stated they processed orders within 24 hrs. Placed my order just past their 4PM deadline on 4 April with UPS 2nd Air shipping (extra $20). Based on this expected my order to ship on 7 April and the lamp to arrive on 9 April. Sent my first emails on 9 April when nothing arrived. Then once no return e-mails let voicemail with both sales and customer service message boxes (never got a person to answer a phone call in over 10 calls)! Finally on 10 Apr got a shipping notificiation - but order was sent via USPS, not UPS! Emailed and called again to find out why - no response. By this time I found another company to provide my lamp with overnight shipping and had new lamp from them by 11 Apr. On 14 April contacted my credit card company to dispute charges from Advanced Lamps and they removed the charfe, since no contact from them, shipping info didn't have any updates beyond shipment received on 10 Apr, and I thought I had been totally scammed. Finally on 16 April I got my lamps - but I had already received replacement from another company - so they are still in unopened box from the shipment. On 21 April, finally got a voicemail from customer service and they requested I email them - sent another email and never got a response. Today I noticed credit card company had reinstated the charge, so I emailed Advance Lamps asking for refund on my shipping charges - they finally responded to state they would refund half - because they did ship the product just not the way requested. I told them that due to not processing order within stated company policy and not shipping how requested they should have refunded entire amount. I will not and would recommend that no one ever order from them, as they don't seem to care about customers or fulfilling orders in a timely manner. Can't speak to quality of the product, since I havent used it yet, but have strong concerns it will be of similiar quality as their fulfillment and customer service is - POOR! Value of loss below includes my time attempting to contact customer service and sales department via phone and e-mail!

Broken lamp assembly

I ordered the T.V lamp assembly on first week of August 2013. It was back ordered so it did not arrived until September 1st, 2013. I received the package partially opened and it was noted by USPS as such. The lamp assembly has a broken mounting screw (detached from the main unit assembly). I e-mailed them twice with no response. I called them on the telephone at lease 4 times, left a voice mail but no response. Just impossible to contact them. Of course I'm still waiting for their answer but seeing all these complaints I doubt if they will ever response to my e-mail and telephone call. So please stay away from this company.

Advanced Lamps Online Merchant Is a RIP-OFF BEWARE!!!

Quick to accept payment, Extremely Slow to ship. Will not Honor their own Warranty, Does not return Emails and impossible to talk to on Phone. Beware of this online vendor!! They Posted a Remember Newtown Ribbon on their site to create FALSE Trust. I payed on January 2nd 2013 and the bulb showed up 2 and a half months later on March 3rd 2013. The product failed during their Warranty period on May 29th 2013 and I sent it back on June 5th 2013. They Told me 4 times the Bulb was on order and should be back in stock in 7-10 days. I've yet to recieve a replacement. Beware

Advance Lamps sent me a DEFECTIVE LAMP!

This Company has. Been the worst Online experience I every had. Advance Lamps sent me a Defective replacement Lamp for my projector And if failed after two days of use and the Company refuse to pay shipping to return the defective lamp. I finally broke down and paid to return the lamp and housing, now they won't refund my money! After 3 months of dealing with the costumer service I am still getting the run around telling me that my order is being processed. I think this company should be shut down for all it's bad practices and poor business ethics. This company should not be allowed to continue to rip off consumers.

Advanced Lamps sold defective products and wont refund my money

I ordered a new bulb for my Sony Wega projection television from Advanced Lamps. They charged me immediatly and then sent an email stating it was on backorder with projected delivery of 3 to 4 weeks. Three weeks later i received the bulb and it did not work. I contacted them and was told to return it at my expense and they would send a replacement. I returned it. Four weeks later I received the 2nd bulb and guess what....... it didnt work. I again contacted Advanced Lamps and told them I just wanted my money back. Their response was that I only had 30 days from the original order date to get a full refund. Only after explaining to several people at Advanced Lamps that all the delays were on their end did they finally agree to refund my money. However I was again required to return their defective product to them at my own expense in order to get a refund. It is now four months from the original order date and 2 months from the return of the 2nd defective bulb and I have yet to receive a refund. I went to Sony.com ordered the bulb and had it in 2 days and it works perfect. Beware of Advanced Lamps , Their prices are cheaper but their products are low quality and their customer service is ........ well, they've yet to give me a refund.
